  • Lewd Update - New forum software.

It's actually hard to read text when it's in too wide columns, that's why books are the shape they are. Unfortunately, it's monitors being wider than they are tall which is the reason why so much space is wasted, there's not much we can do about it 🙁

    back on mailgun for emails - they unsuspended us. will probably use mailchimp for bulk emails in the future though to avoid getting suspended again.

      Hmm, is there a way to disable emojification, or to use the system emoji font? It's a bit of a gripe I have with Discourse-based forums as well.

        malmon i don't think there is but i'll look into how to add a setting for it later.

            Dontmindme there is a light theme but it's a site wide setting - i'll see what i can do to make it so users can switch to it.

              I can't tell if it's the new forum software, but a lot of Youtube embeds don't want to work. I tried posting a few things in the music thread, but between the videos not wanting to embed and the stupid new age gate shit I just had to rehost the video.

                Seems to work fine over here. Are you having issues just putting videos in your posts, or do the existing ones not work either?

                            It's been a long while, but I tried logging in with my username and password and for whatever reason that failed. Something to do with the site having changed software since I last used it? Anyway, finally decided to just make a new account since I wasn't recovering that one. Just wanted to say forum is neat.
