Yeah, It's an interesting place. It's a brewery restaraunt with a motorcycle theme and overall look pretty alright if your into that thing. It's funny though since I always stay in the back doing dishes and whatnot, I've basically forgotten what the place looks like outside of where I work. It's not a bad place though, and I've gotten to enjoy it. I feel like the peculiar staff comes from the fact that the restaraunt has such a unique theme, and that drew in the people that currently work there.

I'm not too much of a sweets guy, but mints are pretty alright. Gum as well. They aren't rich, and they give you a fresh feeling.
Started playing Arkham Horror: The Card Game. It's a so called Living Card Game (LCG) set in the universe of H.P. Lovecraft. Plays a bit like a mix of of Magic: The Gathering and a Cthulhu pen and paper campaign - it's totally great! Really pushes the limits of what I thought is possible with a "card game".
I've only bought the (revised) core box so far, but I've already got tons of playtime out of it. I'll most likely buy the first expansion (or cycle) next month. The only negative thing about it, is the pricetag.... Those expansions are not cheap.
I'm genuinely quite anxious about the whole situation in Ukraine. I don't feel like being drafted into a war ;_;
The stupidity of our own species throwing itself into the next great conflict before even the first half of the 2020s is over may well be conflicting all the years I spent on my own alternate reality settings, and might be as non-canonical thanks to the mishandling of diplomatic moves and blatant warmongering of a single country. And because of this, there's no way I can continue such works of mine for an uncertain future.

Poland? I never heard a single word out of that language, ever since the last time I played Worms, when I think of you, I think of the UK, but confirmed to have Polish-speaking worms, so it might be that the UK was a temporary vacation for the past few years for you. Possibly up to millions of Ukrainians would definitely seek out Poland as a refuge, others sought Hungary, Romania, Moldova, and other NATO countries. For me, I would reach 26 and would just not be called in, but even then, I'll give them hell with my extraordinary smarts.
In case you can't reach us, the united West guide you to the very end.

Only in Russia can you glimpse at their distorted view of events on their TVs tricking the victim [Ukraine] to thinking they're the real menace, even destroyed a war memorial dated back to the previous world war. Dehumanizing to say the worst that any country can do such a thing. And not to forget they still have the largest nukes on board ready to go at his order. Luckily enough in small numbers by now, some diplomats and citizens think the war is unpopular, but it falls on deaf ears at the hands of the powerful few. Even if he has little or no rubles within the month or two, he wouldn't care. He's even trying to reach China for some "pick-me-up" money whatever he can get.
Outside of the conflict, I'm expecting to see a bit of periodic hiccup on the load times on their numerous modding sites, not all of them, since some of the best gaming mods presented to many great games ever made over the years comes from Russia, before Japan, S. Korea, China, Brazil, Indonesia, and others followed suit. It would've been a real shame had Russia been acting this way all along earlier, I wouldn't had started modding my games at all, and the modding audience would've been a lot smaller.

LucianDreamer Poland? I never heard a single word out of that language
Prawdopodobnie dla tego, że wszyscy na internecie mówią po angielsku
But otherwise yes, I do live in the UK. I was born in Poland, my parents and I moved here like, 23 years ago. Plenty of Ukranians are escaping the war to Poland, yeah, over 600k last I heard.
I've thought about how I've changed over the years. While I'm a lot different over the last 10 years, it makes me wonder what will change about me in the future. These last 2 years, I've felt like the same person from start to finish, but is that true? My relationships and standing in life feel the same, so I guess it's just hard to see since I don't have anything big to go off of.

Sending in a new Tulpa named Kania to address all of Earth as of 11:17.
Kania: _"We warned you, humanity. You made grave mistakes throughout history that which you cannot easily redeem. Given the drastic escalation of your pitiless moves at each other as of late, you have sparked the latest soon-to-be tragedy that will be the annihilation of all known civilizations you call it home. It is not about why you really want to do this, but what you really want to achieve. Your continuing quarreling of one another will only quicken your own species' doom, whilst we observe with disbelief at the very prospect of a catastrophe you long thought to hold it back."
"You sown what you reap for conquest, only to find no reward for your bloodied hands, the very world you walked on for many a millennia as a result of your ultimate undoing will be reclaimed in time by the forces of nature. Fail to heed this all you want, but this bitter tone is an omen of your impending tribulation to come."_

I had a thought some time ago, which I think originates from me randomly thinking of Xidnaf again. For those who don't know, his is a now-dormant YouTube channel that covered various topics in linguistics, and one of these was (probably~) Directionality in the Australian Aboriginal languages. See, while everyone else we know of has at least two ways to express direction - one relative to objects, one relative to the entire earth - Aborigines only have the latter, meaning they have to constantly keep mind of the direction they're facing.
Obviously, this creates problems in the modern world. Sure, we have GPS and smartphones today, but it's not ideal for the hypothetical traveler to need to check her compass all the time.
I wondered, what if it weren't like that? What if train cars were equipped with compasses from the early days of industry, and we made gyros cheap and wrist-mountable by the 20th century? Better yet, what if the landing to a staircase, or the exit to an elevator were adorned with compasslike patterns inlaid into the floor? Then even the poorest citizens could orient themselves with just a quick glance at their feet.
I found it an interesting thought, at least. Might incorporate it into my stories someday, perhaps an ace pilot from a shattered people...
Backlash All that sounds more difficult than just adding some words to the vocabulary ^^' It's interesting though. I don't really know anything about the Aboriginals, but I suppose a lack of vocabulary for relative positioning kinda implies that they never had to deal with organising small objects.
random thought. random rant I guess?
But I guess people who know me and have seen my posts back in the day. I was pretty depressed back in the day.
I am glad to say that I have finally gotten professional help and medication for my depression. I just wish I did this 5 years ago
