Show me your photos and your cameras and tell me about them, while I show you mine. I don't have my instant photos scanned, and I do have a lot of them. Instant photography is by far my favourite. I love how whimsical those cameras can be. A lot of the times I feel like I'm the tool, and camera is the artist. I just point at stuff and press a button. I do have a ton of digital photos however, which I'm linking below. Most of them I take with my phone camera, which isn't all that good, but I like how they come out. I also have a cheap tourist camera I sometimes shoot with too, though I rarely do it anymore. I got it for free from my dad, but I feel like it's not much better than my phone camera while being very bulky. The phone I use is Galaxy Xcover 5, I don't know the model of the camera I got for free though. Instant photography I usually do with Mint's SLR670 which I absolutely adore. I do still sometimes pull out my trusty sun 660 though. It's my first instant camera and will always have a special place in my heart. I also have an Instax mini neo 90. Its film is way cheaper than polaroid (though it is half the size and the colours tend to come out cold), so that's what I use when I don't want to spend a lot of money, or I want to take a lot of photos. All shot with various films on various dates. Couldn't recall most of them now ^^'7 These two were taken in November last year in London, along with the Britannia statue I showed you in the other thread. These are unedited though. Ultramax 400, I think. Taken somewhere sort of near where I live, with a Lomography roll that fat-rolled. I think it came out pretty cool though~ Goodwood Revival last year. Pretty sure this one was Portra, probably 400. Then more misc photos I think this one was with Fujichrome, but can't remember which exactly. Lomo purple, I think These look like Portra, but I'm not sure

malmon Oh wow, all of those are very comfy. I really like the third one. Those white blemishes give it such a dreamy mood. The first one is also very comfy, but I'm a sucker for urban photography. I also like the last two. Very nice depth of field. You have a good camera, and an even better eye. Okay then, it's my turn now: Vienna spiders. I won't tell you what this one is. It kills the magic. Just some death and decay. And a friendly reminder that beauty is where you look for it. Even in an obscure warehouse.

Maybe a macro shot of years' worth of condensed drink spills on a bar table... That and the one with the... fur(?) are my favourite ones of this set ^^ WorstFriend You have a good camera, and an even better eye. Only the two city and car photos can be considered to be the camera doing a good job, as that one was taken with the Canon A-1, which has auto exposure. The rest are all with the purely mechanical GL690, so a lot of the time it's super hit or miss, especially given the weight of the thing. I like to think I have a decent eye for things, but in reality these are some very finely cherry-picked examples ^^'7 That said, film photography (especially 6x9) is expensive, so it forces one to think a bit more carefully before opening the shutter. The downside is that I haven't been able to get a whole lot of good action pics.

That said, film photography (especially 6x9) is expensive So is instant photography, though I don't know how it compares, so I get that feel. I still can't afford more Polaroid film.

WorstFriend Dunno which film you buy, but it looks like 8 frames of Polariod Color 600 cost £19. C41 6x9cm development with 6x4" prints costs (also 8 frames) £11 with the lab I use (excluding delivery). If you include my favourite film, Portra 400, which is £74 for a 5-pack, that adds £14.80 to the cost, for a total of £25.80 per roll. So yeah, 6x9cm just about "wins"... Always thought Polaroid stuff would be cheaper!
