_ know of two works of fiction which follow this constraint: A Void (La Disparition) and Gadsby. Additionally, if you look for it you can find a virtual sub-community which avoids using that fifth glyph fully, but _ can't link it as doing so would show that sign in this post.
Hey, uh, @[deleted], from my observing experience in regional message boards and forum posts back in NationStates that is malicious editing of another fellow user's writing, _ am not upset, just being very cautious and curious.
It's difficult to see how that could be taken as malicious, to make that post work one would have to either filter the letter 'e' or remove the quote entirely, which would have made things even more awkward. Nevertheless, your worries are understandable, so rest assured that under no circumstances will future posts made by me contain edited quotes of any kind.
Unfortunately, due to an oversight my previous post contained an 'e' in the quote, so my efforts were in vain. Please take this post in its stead, which employs plenty of 'e's but is devoid of the ninth letter being used as a first-person pronoun. @水面の朧月 is correct: it does sound odd.
