I had a great trip yesterday. I drove to Prague, met up with an online friend, walked around the city, and then went to a Bôa concert. It's the band that's song was used in Lain's opening, "Duvet", and yes, they played it live, right at the end.
The concert itself was amazing, the band came back after a long break with a new album, and it's actually really good. My personal recommendation from the new album is "Walk with me". It's my favourite. The singer had an amazing voice and an unbelievable confidence. They play a sort of soft alt rock if you all don't know them.
The city is also beautiful. We walked around the old town a lot, and went up to the giant metronome. Sadly, it wasn't working at the moment, and I forgot to take a picture. My friend said it goes at around 5 BPM.
This was an exhausting trip however. 900Km total by car, over 5 hours of sightseeing, and a concert, all within 24 hours. 27 hours without sleep. I feel like i have a very bad hangover today, I didn't even know what day it is when I woke up, but it was very much worth it. It was even worth the 3 speeding tickets I got. I'm happy I could have seen this amazing band perform live, play some of my favourite songs including "Duvet". Got myself a vinyl record of their new album too. Very happy I got to hang out with my online friend in real life and hug her too. Happy times.
