malmon it was about 80km. D+ about 2km.
I had the rain jacket too, it can rain suddenly as well here and especially approaching summer there can be mean storms. We checked the weather beforehand.

Finally got a new boiler installed in my flat... a year and a half after we ripped the old one out ^^'
I was at a shooting range last weekend with my dad and my friend and a couple of other people. It was a lot of (expensive) fun.

There was a couple, i don't remember all their names. Some AK, M16, some AR15, some pump shotgun, a (single fire) SMG, I think it was (the new one, not the old one) CZ scorpion, a couple pistols, Glock, Sig Sauer, Walther and XDM.
My friend's dad also brought his over&under shotgun and FB Grot. That's about it I think. Oh, all the pistols were in 9mm.

Sounds like you had a blast ^^ The only real gun I've ever fired is some double-barreled shotgun - it's pretty much impossible to get anything else in the UK

They do for civilian market. It's not entirely pointless, you still have a long gun with a stock, it's way easier to shoot it accurately than a pistol. It also doesn't want to break your wrist nor your shoulder whenever you fire. Plus you can stuff a bigger magazine in an SMG than a pistol. Having automatic fire is not the only perk of SMGs.
Also because of all that they're quite good for first time shooting. Long guns are safer to handle (it's harder to point it at someone accidentally, you don't have the slide going backwards and threatening to break your thumb if you place it in its way) and the recoil is very tame. Though I shot an AR15 in .22lr once. Now that thing felt like an actual BB gun.

Feelin'... pretty good!
Grandma just passed away. I was there to see her die. Thing is we saw it coming, and the anticipation consumed me for over a month. When the time finally came, I was ready, and took it well.
Of course, one thing I've learned this past month is that not everyone grieves in the same way. While I might be chipper and have already accepted yesterday's events, my family struggles, and gradually mourns. The least I can do is be here for them, and ease their conscience in this time of loss.
