Definitely consider the move! It'll take some effort though. You're going to need to explore the arch wiki and install the right packages to get it running as functional as mint. Because Arch isn't as out-of-the-box as mint is. But it has the potential to be.
I used to use Mint but I lost confidence in the dev team when about a few months ago they had a compromised ISO on their official website.
Lost confidence in their team and moved to Arch.
Anyway, if you install Arch you gotta patient in the beginning to get everything running.
P.S. Plasma is a bloated buggy piece of shit. It looks nice but will drive you nuts when you try to be productive.
