I'd like to input here even though there's not much for me to reply to, my point of view, which is Islam's, comes from god telling us that he's the way we think he is; if I think he's going to make my life hell, he is, but only if I really deserve it, and if I think he's going to make my life heaven, he is, but only if I deserve it, based on what he told us about morality and what works in this world, mostly not hurting other people, and neither yourself. In all god is basically what you want him to be, but in moderation, that's the second most important rule of Islam.

I took a 500gb HDD full of anime on me on a 3 week trip around europe once. Was a godsend for not being bored.
I find it hard to believe there was nothing of interest other than anime on a trip around Europe!
The trip was a cycling trip, where we use the car to travel between campsites (usually very small, municipal campsites in the middle of nowhere), where we stay for a few days and do day trips on the bike. This means a lot of boring road miles, and evenings with nothing much to do, except read - or watch anime of course.
I don't really enjoy cycling, but there's usually one or two fun moments (when we're stopped). And a nice break from the internet is fun.
That seems really fun actually.
I found it on the Pomf page.
Great stuff.

I'm thinking of doing what compa suggested the other day, and just having a subforum for goodbye threads and excluding threads made in there from the today's posts search and latest posts on the index.
That way they can say their goodbye, and anyone that wonders where they went can find their goodbye thread in the subforum.
That's genius tbh.
