    malmon mhm i wanna get people talking about anime again, we used to talk about it sooo much (slamming my head against a wall rn going through hundreds of threads about different anime and linking them to the new system).

      I'm really stupid I can't figure it out on mobile but I'll get on my desktop in a bit and try it out

      Would be really cool if images could be attached without needing to host them elsewhere... Not sure how you could do that without just needing way more storage and bandwidth on the server side, though.

        malmon i could maybe look into cheap offsite storage like s3 or something

            clare As long as it doesn't get out of hand ^^' Maybe it should be limited to like, trusted users? By which I mean those that are obviously not just bots or spammers. Though perhaps just having something like a requirement to set an avatar before you're allowed to post might help.

                malmon i could maybe make it upload with a file hosting site like catbox, would prob feel no different and then its free and doesn't add any extra workload.

                    clare I think as long as it's not for commercial purposes, and people don't post anything against catbox's rules, that should be fine... Otherwise all the uploaded images might get nuked lol

                      you can now upload images directly to the text editor (hosted with a third party service). drag and drop, paste from clipboard, and clicking the image button all work.

                      the emoji picker has been expanded to include twitch emotes and more emoji.

                      and one thats less visible but old posts have been cleaned up of any garbled text, unsupported bbcode (replaced with new alternatives) or other formatting issues.

                      How does the list integration work, just a tracker or is it a social thing where you can see what other users watched on their profile?

                          Dontmindme ended up not going with catbox as their CORS policy doesn't allow for browser uploads. i think the one i went with (sxcu.net) deletes stuff that hasn't been accessed in a while.

                          the list integration displays on your profile yeah, you can look at it on mine if you wanna see a (barely) filled out one.
                          you can also start threads via the anime pages that are linked to the anime or individual episodes.

                            like the anime tracking, only for manga.

                            this functions p much exactly the same way as the anime tracking, you can add manga to lists and have them display on your profile or start threads and link them to a manga page.

                            it uses my anime list data, my anime list doesn't publish detailed chapter info so it can't really be split into episodes like the anime pages.

                            the syncs that have been setup for anime now also sync manga.

                            manga has also been split into its own category again, threads have been moved and linked to the manga tracker pages, please let me know if there are any mistakes.

                            there is now also a light theme again, you can change to it under settings

                            clare changed the title to manga tracking, manga category and light theme - 20/10/2026 .

                            Been getting a few "something went wrong" banners since this update, I think. Not sure what the actual error is, but it seemed to happen every time until I did a hard refresh, and when switching themes.

                              malmon should be good now.

                              it looks like your browser dropped the session cookie. so now sessions are set to stay for a lot longer and the page will try to get a new token whenever it notices it's missing.
