It seems like the more I go into online "otaku communties" the more I hear constant mention of VNs that to me sound extremely esoteric and obscure but apparently are actually super popular. The only VNs I currently know of are Key ones that have anime adaptations like clannad, and things like class of 09. What are some ones that would be a good starting point if I want to get into them? Also I should mention that I'm not really interested in things with porn in them lmao. So if y'all have any recs, let me know. Thanks

Corpse Party is the only one I've had any real exposure to. A horror one, in case you hadn't inferred from the title~
Never read (played?) a VN before, but I heard about Steins Gate fwiw
