Yes. I am making a thread, I must be insane 🙂
So lewd. Do you program? What language do you work with?
As for myself I do stuf in powershell, python, T-SQL, PHP and vbscript (sadly). As you can see, I do a lot of scripting languages.
Yuu_ It's literally my job, so yes~ Mostly firmware in C and C++, other programs/scripts in Python.
I remember using VB in Excel many years ago - can't say I miss it ^_^' What do you do with vbs?
malmon Technical debt you know. Maintaining ancient backend software from 2001 haha 🙂 VB was quite popular back in the day...
Most days I do. Its mainly "scientific" programming in R and Python. One part is writing scripts for statistical modelling or machine learning on some dataset, the other part is stuff like implementing an algorithm to do something and packaging that up.

Could you explain Allan variance to me, please? >_<
Yuu_ Yeah.. We have/had a bunch of old Tcl scripts. Converted most of them to Python though ^^' We also have a similar issue with maintaining legacy code. However, our current code is also legacy code lol, just with more stuff bolted on over the years.
malmon I feel you. Luckily we are moving on to powershell. But quite a lot of it is still running on vbscript haha.
I can't believe you consider that an improvement xD
In a few months I time I want to try making a custom CSS start page for firefox that uses some custom widgets. For now, practicing the basics is all I'm doing.
I should write a Python program to make Calc III easier.
