Too damn cold? More like too damn rainy. I'm starting to forget what sunlight feels like. ;-;
I'm bedridden when it is 75 and sunny out, and then when I finally get back to myself it turns 50 and rainy :\
This will be the last day I am using the AC just to keep my room cool, and then the real Appalachian chill begins tonight from there, largely thanks to Michael.
All of a sudden it feels like winter. It's so chilly all the time that it might as well be the same temperature all day.
guess its autumn now, i actually quite liked the end of summer 18-20C weather because it was just right for wearing tshirts indoors and outdoors
There was a freeze warning two other nights ago, it made me want to grab two thick blankets wrapping around me and a winter hat meant for the Soviets to wear back in their old days. The downstairs got so cold I have to wear wool socks to protect my feet because my body isn't very accustomed to it. You could say I am very sensitive to cold environments like the Germans in both wars and the Napoleonic French were. Seriously, I would not want to be that person out of many in the Eastern Front struggling through any Russian winter.
Once again that time of the year where I'm especially glad to have an R9 290X has rolled around~
I am not kidding; it is going to be freezing with a high wind warning for the night, and still in November.
I should start wearing a coat. Leaving the lab yesterday, I was greeted with fallen rainwater flowing uphill with the wind.
A nice slab of meat, some frozen veggies and an old fashioned turkey with applied stuffing is all set to go to the table soon, because here in the Appalachians, I sense very low digits ahead, and that meal by tradition will warm me up.
This evening the temperature was in that perfect spot where it's still cold enough for snow but I'm also comfortable going out in a short sleeve shirt.

I wonder now, what temperature does water freeze at where you live?

At 0.01C, so not much different from any where else. I guess I should clarify that this was snow already on the ground, not fresh snow falling. Looking at actual weather history it was definitely much higher than the freeze point.
Please help
