A lot of emotion in this one for me. It's sort of a combination of two genres, one of which defined a pretty significant period of my early teenage years/late childhood, and one which was represented me a little more recently.
I think it's quite easy to get euphoric hardstyle wrong, either by having too cheesy/generic a melody, or just generally a track that gets uninteresting after a while, but this one has stuck with me for many years. And while it may not have quite the same punch or energy as today's hardstyle (which is basically a gradual convergence of the euphoric/raw subgenres), it's still one of the very few tracks that makes me feel like things are ok.
Funny how this remix somehow feels more trancey than the original.
