I am still waiting to see what he is going to do in office and who will be in his cabinet. Hopefully not a bunch of neo cons like the last couple of presidents. I also agree cultural Marxism is having an affect on our society, modern day feminism is not an extension of the women's rights movement IMO. I hope that having differences of opinions doesn't mean we can't still get along, I like you all. ;w;

Realtalk, though: What in the world is "cultural Marxism"? I've heard that term for over a year and still never ascertained a straight answer.

See the thing is, I wouldn't be so rude if people didn't have simple minds. Feels like it's the only way I can get across to people who firmly believe Donald Trump is hitler, or radical feminism is always right. Because neither of the statements are true, also I did say on that thread that I didn't mean to sound rude, it was just the way I typed it. But this time, I'm rude because I'm sick and tired of all these people thinking Donald Trump is going to ruin our planet, in the words of Shoe0nHead, people are "literally shaking" because of Donald Trump. No one gives the guy a damn chance, he's our President-Elect. Deal with it.

I dislike trump because I don't think he's a good candidate to be president. He brags about avoiding taxes. He personally attacked his opposition. He would blatantly misuse statistics to support his arguments. When questioned about things he said he would act like he never said that and change his position on it.

I'm pro choice. I don't think deporting all illegal immigrants and banning Muslims from entering the country is a good way to handle immigration issues. I disagree that we should relax regulations and empower the coal and oil industries.

If you want to persuade me that Trump was a better choice than his alternatives, you should back up his policies rather than calling his detractors "simple minded" or telling them to go fuck themselves.

The term, as you have likely encountered it, comes from a conspiracy theory involving the Frankfurt School wherein unseen forces use multiculturalism, political correctness and other such progressive politics to subvert, takeover and destroy Western civilization as we know it. In strictly academic circles, "cultural Marxism" was the process of trying to apply Marx's thoughts on socioeconomic to cultural matters but it's become a sort of boogeyman in recent years, mostly for right wingers. If someone talks about it in a non-conspiratorial context they probably are just referring to multiculturalism and the like.
