Erika Good to know! So far I haven't had much problems with Jellyfin but I don't use it extensively either.
One thing to note is that I have trouble finding series with Sonarr, so I do et manually and then it automatically renames them, so that might be part of why Jellyfin does goodsince I have the inverse problem before (find a show from imdb name) and do the manual step as you said. Especially for seasons, for example latest one was Overlord which has Overlord II instead of Overlord S2 or something. I'll save your post!

Dontmindme Most of my stuff is untouched in terms of the file naming, it's on a seedbox and I never got around to setting up linking in such a way that I could have clean and simple file names in the media libraries. I think that's why Jellyfin sucked for me, vanilla Plex had a rough time with it as well.
My biggest gripe is that nothing sorts anime series alphabetically, then their seasons in order. Plex at least has the "sorting name" or whatever, but I have to manually edit that. Otherwise Monogatari is all over the place and good luck with the Raildex stuff.

Just finished Odd Taxi. It's a pretty solid show. Probably one of the best ones I've watched this year. Which is strange, because there is nothing particularly stand-out-ish about it. The pacing is very good, the animation is fitting, the voice acting is amazing at times (like Yano's rap-speeches) and the story is intriguing enough to keep one entertained the whole time. All in all it's just a well thought out and well crafted show that I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

Erika Monogatari is definitely a good test, with the season names being all over the place!

Sonny Boy is another intriguing show airing this year. Only five episodes are out so far and I'm enjoying it quite abit. Sure hope they don't botch the second half (looking at you Wonder Egg Priority).

The character designs are done by Hasashi Eguchi, who also did the character designs for Perfect Blue and Roujin Z. I love his style and it really shows here!

Kill la Kill is great. The show just leaks with character and entertains me to no end. I remember watching it when I was really sick 4 years ago or so and how surreal the whole experience was.

Not so much watched, but I've been having Minecraft Far Lands or Bust playing in the background when working from home. It's not the most thrilling thing most of the time, but the guy has a pretty good voice, and it's pretty cool seeing the occasional quirk of the old Minecraft version.

Just saw No Time To Die last night.

I must say, I feel like those who were saying that it wasn't a real Bond film, that the protagonist has lost his edge, or that the film's gone too "woke", have the slightest of points. In that I very much see where they're coming from, but that such statements are also somewhat exaggrated. Bond was a bit softer, more sensitive in this film, but I think that it's somewhat fitting with his affectionately ageing image.

The main issue with the film is that it was perhaps a little too much action, and not enough secret service. One review I read coined the name "James Bourned", and in some ways it's right on the money. I much prefered some of the quiet tension that we got with Casino Royale (the Daniel Craig one). Also, make sure to watch Spectre before this one. I haven't and I think that there were a few points in the story that didn't make a lot of sense as a result.

There were a couple of other things, but I won't mention them in case I spoil it.

All in all though, I really loved the film. It was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it ^^

Oh, also, Billie Eilish's theme is amazing, IMO.

Spiderman 2 is pretty cool. I just really like the character of Peter, and how the character is potrayed. It's also got some great jokes, and is overall a cool flick. I also really like this part.

I watched Season 2 of Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon. As a person who really liked the first season, I was wondering how they would follow up and if it'd be as good as the first season. Luckily, after a full look at all the episodes, I think it's even better than the first season. It's hard to say how it did better, overall I think it just built off of the characters established in the first season, and had a good balance of additional backstory, spreading out the time between characters, and kept me interested for the entire show. It still keeps that laid back and fun atmosphere, and I'm really glad with how it turned out.

Anyone else excited for the Cyberpunk 2077 anime? It's produced by Studio Trigger and directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare). It will air in September 2022 on Netflix.

quintuplicate The first season was really good! Probably one of my favourites. It's extremely comfy while still feeling profound at times and has a quite strong cast of characters.

Foolguy I watched season 2 last winter. I was so happy with how the season ended. Just fantastic pacing all-around. The character development in both seasons felt really rewarding as the series went on. I gotta read the manga now to see what other bits of info are out there.

Last anime I completed was Zetman. I expected something similar to Devilman but it has its own identity and is good food for thought. It's a Seinen alright.
So many anime on my backlog but somehow none I want to watch lately, been watching mostly movies or YouTube/Twitch, might try going up the anime movie backlog.

Saaaaame. I really want reduce my backlog of oldish mecha anime but nothing really wants to stick. I could finish either MSG: Charr's Counterattack, Turn A Gundam or Eureka Seven. I also just started with the first episode of The Big O and stumbled over Crusher Joe, both of which look great but couldn't captivate me immediately.

EDIT: Cyberpunk Edgerunners releases tomorrow on Netflix!!!

mnl regarding old mecha I also have some, my introduction to Gundam with Kidou Senshi Gundam: Dai 08 MS Shotai but I can't stand the protagoniste so far and VOTOMS which I'm putting off because it's a serious story and there are so many episodes! Also noticed Space Cobra is available on Netflix and I'd like to watch it.
And thanks for the Cyberpunk EdgeRunner reminder, I didn't get the notification.

Dontmindme Ahh, VOTOMS is a show I wanted to watch it for a long time but never got around to it.

                Edgerunners was absolutely excellent! Highly recommended. I'm a die-hard Trigger fanboy though, so your mileage may vary. Personally, I binged through it two times already... ^_^;

Me and some friends in a Discord I'm part of recently watched High School Fleet (aka, Haifuri).

Sadly, I missed the second half of the series as I was sick, but I really liked what I saw. ^^
