Hello fellow anime fans! I just want to ask you if you prefer android phones or gadgets rather than IOS phones or gadgets? For me, I am an avid IOS user, I have an iPhone and an iPad. And oh, of course, my laptop is a MacBook as well. What I like about IOS is that it is quite an easy software to use. I easily knew how to navigate through my iPhone the first time I got it. The same goes for my iPad and MacBook. Then, I love that the designs of the IOS gadgets are quite classy and elegant. They do not go out of style and they look appealing as well. I also love how the apps are quite screened before they are approved in the store. This way, you don't get those crappy, worthless apps. Share your thoughts, guys and girls!

I use IOs just cause most apps are on iOs. When I had an android most shit I wanted to download wasn't available. :*

Ive used both, and they are both great products. I really dont see all the hate between both platforms. Sure android is cheaper, but you get unoptimized and buggy apps. (Im sure a quad core and 4GBs of ram can handle any phone app). Not to mention when you code something for android you have to test every single flavor to make sure it works on all of them. Very unessesary work. iOS is expensive both hardware and dev kit. But apps work and thats all that matters.

I own an iPhone 6 as I got it for free, I like the phone and think people complain about Apple way too much. The only thing I'm sad about is that I don't own an Apple computer and Apple doesn't allow you to develop iOS apps without one, so as a developer, I'm kind of out of luck with developing apps for my phone.

I love android. I've tried using iPhone because my mother has one that she gave to my sister, but android works better for me. All of the phones I have ever had, has always been android.

I prefer Android for one simple reason. I love to mess around and customize my stuff to truly fit me perfectly. This is something Android surpasses iOS and Windows greatly with.

Totally agree with you here. I forgot I also tested out a windows phone. My brother has one and he let me mess around with it. Seriously one of the most annoying phones I have ever fiddled with. Much like Windows 8 with the stupid "no start menu" crap. I hated that. Can't say I'm digging windows 10 that much either, but it is better than 8 was.

Simple answer. I'm an android user and I've never owned any apple product except for an Ipod Classic in high school.

My family is just always trying to try out new phones or buying phones that are still good, but not current just to see how they are. That's the only way I was able to try out an iPhone and a Windows phone. I wouldn't have bought them for myself.

Which is how I have had the "joy" of trying them out. Iphone is too restricted for me and Windows phones are too messy.

I totally agree with you. I managed okay when I borrowed the iPhone, but you're right about it being too constricting. I hate how Apple forces you to use exclusively Apple for everything. And the Windows phone just managed to piss me off.

Have any of you tried the OnePlus X, or any OnePlus phones? They are great Andriod devices for cheap. A fully unlocked phone is $250, great phone, great price. 😉

I use iOS, just jailbreak it to get a bit more out of it is all 🙂 Makes it a lot like an android after that I guess

I just put LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9) onto my phone. Quite slick, though I don't like that I can't disable fingerprint unlock. The stock recents screen is also pretty hopeless. I have been able to enable encryption again though, which is nice.

The pie easter egg is pretty sweet too - just wish you could save from it.

I'm quite happy with my LG V20. It's an utter pain in the ass to tinker with, but I guess that makes it a bit more rewarding. Plus removable battery and good DAC.

Note 9! Honestly the best phone I've had since my Nexus 6. I gave the LG G6 a shot, but it was overall pretty disappointing. The Note 9 is an amazing phone and while I'm not the biggest fan of the curved screen, the S Pen does more than enough to make up for it. I never thought I'd actually use it, but being able to whip my phone out to right down a quick note or something is hands down amazing feeling. On top of that the size is perfect and the specs will last me several years.

Pretty much this. I've refrained from buying higher end smartphones since submerging my Blackberry Passport in water (which was a bad buy anyway).

Smaller phones are great! I actually dug up my old HTC Droid Incredible a little while ago, and it runs smooth as the day I bought it. Having a custom ROM probably helped.

Personally I'm a little disappointed I won't have access to some apps that I frequent now on it (at least not immediately), but otherwise I agree that it does look very promising. I suppose people buying this phone wouldn't exactly be looking for the top free apps on Google Play or whatnot.

Heh, the only app I wouldn't be able to replace immediately, is Signal. The rest I could proably just substitute with normal Linux programs. That being said, I think they're being a bit overly ambitious when they say that they'll update the OS over the device's entire lifetime.

No amount of security is going to stop some of the most adamant from getting in. However, I'd say Apple does a good job at protecting its consumers. Android users are kind of just allowed to do whatever, want to install a modified Spotify apk that definitely does not have malware? Go for it! As far as I'm aware you can't do that with Apple and thus it's a bit more secure. What do I know though, I'm an Android user - perhaps times have changed and iPhones are less secure than they were in the past.
