[size=large]Personally, I think that it's just a nice word and all. Usually people meet for convenience(get married/marry), if only there was someone around, so as not to feel lonely, or for sex because it's so accepted in society. If you don't have anyone, it means something you have not. [/size]
[size=large]I also just disgusting and funny, this so-called honeymoon phase of our relationship. In most cases, this is bribery, I think, "you-me sex, I give you gifts, movies, etc.[/size]
[size=large]And is it possible everything (sympathy, affection,fleeting passion, etc.) is called"love"? Straight funny when that girl/guy once again says "I LOVE you" to someone. And that all those times THIS is a direct love was?! [/size]

I believe OP wasn't asking whether it was possible to fall in love, but rather whether one believed that love can take the form it does in fiction: Stable, monogamous partnerships, that last till the death of both individuals.

It's not like that buddy. I know sometimes love doesn't work like movies or books or whatever explains. I've seen rock-solid marriages gone to shit, heck, even the fucking Flintstones were on the brink of divorce. (The Flintstones on the rocks, 2001). I had a peer who was on a good marriage and his girl just left him.
Once a relationship is done, it's healthy to look inside on what you did wrong and what she or he did wrong to learn. Every lost battle is a learning point, but don't make the mistake to blame and cripple yourself not to love again on stuff that you did wrong. When a relationship is done and dead, it's all water under the bridge now.
I also recommend picking up "The Art of Loving" by Erich Fromm. It will help you clear out a lot about love.

I believe it does, it's just modern society doesn't incentivize it as much as it used to.

I don't think that in every relationship it's granted one of the two will cheat or leave, I think that love between two people can exist.

I don't think that in every relationship it's granted one of the two will cheat or leave, I think that love between two people can exist.

I reckon that a large part of the issue is that we're not naturally inclined to want to stay with one partner for the rest of our lives. Like most animals, we're genetically programmed to just pass on our genes as much as possible.

Love to me is a measurement of the relationship between two or more individuals built upon companionship, intimacy, romance (not always), proximity, similar interests, and an equal respect for each other's goals. With that being said, yes. I absolutely believe in love.
