It's fun how condensed love is as a word. And such is the case that it can't be described as the same for everyone.
Taking as example the greeks, they had atleast 4 words for different types of love. As such, you could describe (technically) exactly the type of "love" you were feeling about something. More important is that if you know the type of love you're dealing with, you know how to maintain it.
Now, using only a broad word to describe how you feel about something makes it not really tangible.
As an example, you can love your mom, your dog, and a qt girl. Your love for them won't be the same, neither they can be described as the same. And the catch is that, the "love" we're talking here is probably the third one, which is in majority of sexual value. As it is, one can conclude that the "love" we're talking here is nothing but attraction. Or in more broad terms, no, love in the meaning is is used as doesn't exist, it's just plain attraction for someone (or something) that will vanish as soon as the characteristics you like also vanish, or which is also common is that they're not appealing for you anymore.
