malmon
I don't know what else to say. I remember I had it at least twice, but probably more. Nothing bad happened to me, and it was quite a unique expierience.
One time I had it while still dreaming, so I saw both my dream and my room with my eyes open. I remember I was sitting awkwardly in a little jeep in that dream, and it was pretty dark all around with no shadows, must have been a very late dusk. That time I think I was able to move, but very, very slowly. Like I was submerged in honey. You ever pretended that you're in a film with a slow-motion part as a kid? It was kinda like that. At least I think those were the same instances, that awake dreaming and slow motion movement could have been two different times.
Second one I don't remember that much, I think I had my face in a pillow or otherwise couldn't see much. Couldn't move at all either so I did what you're supposed to do when you want to wake up from your sleep paralysis. I focused really hard on moving a single body part. I think it was toes for me. Took me what felt like a second or two, and a few more seconds after I managed to move them, I woke up completely.
No demons. Just an eerie otherwordly mix of dreams and reality. What's not to love.
I have one more cool dream expierience to share, though unrelated to sleep paralysis. Sometimes, and yesterday was especially vivid, I can see things around me with my eyes closed when I'm falling asleep. It feels so real, that yesterday I was wondering if I really had my eyes closed. I could see my room, and it worked even when I moved my head. I assume it's just my brain displaying a screenshot of sorts of my room, and not my third eye opening or something. Nontheless, a very fun expierience.
