hmmm, programming in general, light browsing, probably not that much gaming (if any it will be light as hell), there might be a need for video editing down the road

A ThinkPad tbh. They have the best laptop keyboards AFAIK, although they're not known to have the best screens, which may or may not be a deciding factor for video editing. The Ryzen models were recently released if you're looking for a new one, otherwise there are loads on the used market
