I've had two friends recommend it to me. One I completely expected. The other... isn't even an anime fan, so it honestly shocked me. I have to check it out at some point - hopefully it lives up to the hype!

Watched one of the 80s OVAs last night after seeing it on YouTube. I got some serious Evil Dead and Army of Darkness vibes from it, which was further enhanced by the dub. Good stuff.
