I can't fathom how the Vita did so poorly, I actually enjoy using this thing more than my 3DS! (Granted I didn't need a proprietary, expensive-2-heck memory card for the 3DS so)
It sold great in Japan, the North American market just isn't what the majority of people living here are looking for. And the memory card is ridiculous and should have just been a Micro SD card. I've played more games on my 3ds than I have on my Vita, but I've played a few good games on my Vita.
