I finally messaged my old friend after two years and we talked for a while but I don't really know if he was enthusiastic at all about the reconnection. It could have just been out of courtesy. I wouldn't be so sure~ people change quite a bit after leaving school from what I've seen, especially past the point where remidial classes are really a thing.

Might be tryin' somethin' new these next few days. Ever since I started hurting too much for daily VR Chat, I've kinda lost all my conversational skills - The, ah, shrill and semi-coherent pidgin I use to communicate housework with my mom, notwithstanding. I can't let that happen, so I reckon I might try verbally saying somethin' before I type it here on the forum, or on Discord.

It ain't gonna be easy, but I'm hopin' I can get my Southern accent back someday. I really do miss that... ^_^
