Steph 10 > 7 for me, I think selling your soul to microsoft is an all or nothing thing. Either use W10 and love it or use linux. Sticking your head in the sand and using windows 7 leads to an XP-like situation where it's suddenly been 11 years and oh shit we don't get security updates any more. I mean you're probably going to be feeling pretty outdated before then, new software is likely to be W10-only.

KuroAku The only things sticking me to 10 is updates and DX12. On the rest I prefer 7. But that's only on the Windows realm. I can only fully feel at home in a *NIX with a shell

If YOU don't get security updates you're doing it wrong. iirc in 8.1 you can disable all updates like in 7 and below

If YOU don't get security updates you're doing it wrong. iirc in 8.1 you can disable all updates like in 7 and below AKA, a really fucking bad idea. I can see why microsoft made it so that you can't do that in 10. Too many idiots who think they know what they're doing.
