cuz like i do but very often anyway i have this obsession with talking to myself (as you previously read) and i was wondering if anyone does it too (dont be shy!)
i usually do it when im playing a new game or trying to amuse myself or a scene pops up in my head
I do kinda when im trying to figure out what im trying to do with myself if my thoughts are too confuzzled, if that makes any sense.
All the time, people think I'm weird though, but I can't keep it in :C

you remind me i do it in public too >.<
i tell myself not to
Only by myself when I am thinking about something
I talk to my stuffed animals if that counts. Other than that only when I am really depressed or anxious I'll talk outloud to either console my self or beat myself up more. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who does this.
Only when I'm playing with my sushi, I like to insult myself while doing it

i'm glad you feel that way
Yeah, I do. Not in public though, only when I am alone.
sometimes I'll complete my thoughts out loud, without realizing until it's already out. luckily I whisper or mouth it but I look pretty stupid doing it either way

I always look stupid so I guess it doesn't matter.
yes, my mouth moves on its own if I'm thinking hard or deciding something.
I don't talk to myself, but I regularly talk to the air as if the person I'm addressing is within earshot. Mostly because I'm playing out a scenario in my head about a possible conversation. I also have problems with flat affect and not inflecting when I talk, so I practice saying things more dynamically and emphatically when I'm alone.

Yes yes yes exactly what I'm talking about
i think u just described talking to urself
I just meant to say I don't respond to myself. I mean, I don't have full conversations like "Hey, how are you, me?" "I'm veritably distressed. And you?" "What a coincidence! Everything is terrible!" "Indeed."
Yes, I talk to myself all the time. Usually when I can't hear myself think.
Yeah, but in private, like most others here, I suppose. Unless I'm programming, then I usually talk to myself a lot wherever.
100% all of the time when I'm alone and the conversation will continue in my head whenever I'm around others unless I'm pretty comfortable around them and we're both doing something different
