I have an interesting story to tell for @[deleted] because I feel like I want to kill off a hurricane beginning tomorrow. This is a recent excerpt from one of my NS RPs against the STORM Union. <3
Here it goes in spoilered text here:

Inside the Renovated Thundercrushers' Guild Base
Time of Day: 21:25
Forecast: Dense Fog
Start of scene
Kisara Tendo: "And here comes our fourth regiment into the newly renovated guild base, welcome."
Rosen: "Wow, this place is fantastic! I wonder if this place can get any bigger than that."
Kisara Tendo: "It is indeed very nice, you can get to oversee the big garden where daily picnics are held, and here inside, we now have a big enough kitchen for the servicing maids to keep this place tidy."
Rosen: "That's wonderful, but what are we here for, actually?"
Kisara Tendo: "Let's face it. We are at war with the fairies if you didn’t hear the news lately. The waters on our great sea to the southeast are already beginning to ramp up just in time I am readying to hand out a new mission for you girls. Unfortunately, there's been bad luck on the last job, and sadly I'm only going to give you half salary just this once."
Rosen: "Why half wages?"
Kisara Tendo: "Something must've screwed up at the last second, and our last regiment was caught, sentenced to death, and the media dispersed. Tough luck on us a couple days back. Now, we have a much bigger problem than just fleeing captives and an imminent invasion, it is right on our seas here at home. If you're familiar with the drills and preparation kits, then the guild will provide you with all necessary equipment to handle out nearly any natural disaster."
Kisara then unloads the disaster kits for the Fourth Regiment to look at in splendor.
Kisara Tendo: "You see these special bags are all you need to handle these situations and mandatory when disaster is near and imminent to our shores."
Nashio: "What is this I just picked up?"
Kisara Tendo: "Flashlight to see in the dark in case power goes out, there's also a lighter for candles and walkie-talkies for communication. The last bits of it are dry, non-perishable food, good enough to sustain you for no more than half a week."
Nashio: "So what's the plan you have in mind, Kisara?"
Kisara Tendo: "Well then, hurricane season begins at the start of the rainy season which is just two days away from now, but given the fast rotation of the planet, well, you might notice time passing by fairly quickly just by standing outside a few minutes or so. We're going "hurricane hunting" in our sea right here to the southeast."
Rosen: "You're serious, are you?"
Kisara Tendo: "Very serious, storms of such massive size can be tracked and we know where to hit them once we get the professional weather crew to get on their big plane since it takes time to form, move, and then try to sustain their low pressure system as long as possible. We wait for one to form somewhere as a depression first, let them do its thing, inform us of their new data sent from their station, sending out an advisory, watch or warning alert and then strap on your water ski shoes only if it is a warning alert."
Rosen: "Acting as shipgirls?"
Kisara Tendo: "Exactly."
Nao: "Yeah, but how are we going to stop one if it wraps itself around with high winds, water and dangerous lightning?"
Kisara Tendo: "Use earth-shattering or anti-wind magic, of course. Anything else would just make it worse, since they are immune to it. For now, things are a little quiet at sea, but when the season starts, we will start staring at the map on the fly and see if one shows up. We need to hunt down like three of them before any one strikes land, but even then, I only give you half of the full reward. A bonus is granted if you also take down any waterspouts that they spawn, using fire magic that can dispel it. Just don't end up drowning yourselves or struck by lightning when you're out there only when I tell you."
Rosen: "Fair enough to me."
The Fourth Regiment will wait for hurricane season to start whilst going about normal business and then the dread of waiting begins.
