Foolguy Sounds pretty healthy. I love me some dried fruits and nuts to snack on during a workday.

Snow fell down in my town just a week ago. It was heavy enough that it held back traffic and I was 10 minutes late to work. But since it was such a snowy day, not too many people came it, and it was a fair enough day. Winter used to be my favorite season just because snow was such a weird and exciting thing for me. This also combined with the fact that December seemed to always drag on forever as a kid, and it always had the end of school for a few weeks. Can't say I like it as much nowadays. It sounds depressing, but I feel like a lot of the magic winter had when I was a kid has gone away.

What caused that? Maybe because I skate and it stops me for a few months. Maybe because December no longer drags like in the past, and just feels like a normal month. Maybe because I feel strangely separated from family, not physically, but in the way where you can't help but feel there's a wall between you and them. Maybe because I'm too easily satified with the things I have, and new things I want aren't as prevelant as a kid. Maybe because things are different, where 5 years ago you were a completely different person then you are now.

It still does have it's beauty though. Snow still shines its white color, and I still like it for its plain yet beautiful looks. And I don't mind the cold either. But I do miss November.

i miss the fun i had in the earlier years of lewd, i used to love meeting new people but now i'm really reclusive.

clare Where did all the people come from during the start of lewd? I came very late to the party so I don't really know too much of how it started and how it got that many people.

Hope you guys had a great Christmas! I handed in my masters thesis the week before Christmas and I haven't felt this relaxed in months. Good times~

mnl aaah, good luck~ When will you find out the results?

        • mnl replied to this.

malmon In a couple of weeks I guess. I'm pretty confident in the work, so I think the result won't be too bad. 🙂

mnl Ah, that's good! We had to wait until the end of the year for ours, I think ^^'7

            What was your thesis on?

            • mnl replied to this.

malmon Hmm, it's a bit abstract. In a nutshell it was a therotical work in statistics about calculating "shape means" (see maybe Statistical Shape Analysis) in a way that is suitable when only very little data is available. I think with the exact topic I would dox myself immediately, because its extremely niche. 😛

Foolguy a lot of different places. other forums, 4chan ads, 8chan ads, humblebundle, our affiliates, lainchan when they were an affiliate, etc.

Foolguy I think the old admin/owner sent me here. Equinox. I dont remember where or how though. But word of mouth.

                random thought: tfw no GF.

                I'll keep trying though....

A co-worker of mine complemented me really well. I was honestly shocked out of my mind. I don't think my parents have come close to beating this complement. Maybe that's not good, but that's besides the point.

This is even more shocking when my work place is full of some weird people. Maybe not weird, but definitely a type of person. A good amount of the people at my work have tattoos, and I don't interact with them much since I'm a dishwasher and I don't really need to talk to people to do my job.

It's hard to say what the complement was, since it really wasn't one line, and more of the feeling and reception of the conversation. But the general idea was "You're a pretty smart and capable guy, and it's pretty nice working with you."
Perhaps this is what friendship feels like.

Yeah, It's an interesting place. It's a brewery restaraunt with a motorcycle theme and overall look pretty alright if your into that thing. It's funny though since I always stay in the back doing dishes and whatnot, I've basically forgotten what the place looks like outside of where I work. It's not a bad place though, and I've gotten to enjoy it. I feel like the peculiar staff comes from the fact that the restaraunt has such a unique theme, and that drew in the people that currently work there.
