Hello!

I want this!
Clafoutis
Serves 4–6
INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole milk
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and butter until the sugar is dissolved. Add the flour and whisk until smooth. Pour the batter into a cast iron skillet or pie pan.
Now add your favorite fruit or flavoring (see below). Bake until the clafoutis is beautifully puffed and golden, 35–40 minutes. Serve immediately.
Clafoutis Variations:
Concord Grape Clafoutis: Once the batter is in the skillet, scatter 2 cups slightly crushed Concord or other black or red grapes on top.
Cherry Clafoutis: Scatter 2 cups pitted cherries onto the batter once it's poured into pie plates.
Pear Clafoutis with Pear Eau de Vie: Core 1 ripe pear and cut into pieces. Pour the batter into the skillet and top with the pear pieces. Bake. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons eau de vie.

I should probably stop writing in every thread every time I come back and keep it to 1 or 2. Feels like I'm spamming.
Dontmindme it's okay! i do the same thing. as long as it's not some spammy super low effort posts, nobody's gonna think you're spamming.
As @clare said, go for it - make the forum a bit more active ^_^'
I'm pretty happy with my financial situation right now. Around two years ago I started putting a small amout of money to the side every month and I've managed to built up a nice little financial safety net + some money that is invested in index funds (ETFs). While it's not a huge amount, it's also not too bad for university student standards and definitely a huge improvement from living paycheck to paycheck.
Got drenched a few days ago, leather wallet got very wet and stained some papers I had in it. Wondering if waterproof/water resistant wallet exist, it's not the first time my pants get wet and wet everything inside my pockets.
Dontmindme I think I've seen wallets that were a metal shell with a zipper. They were like a mini accordion folder and marketed as blocking wireless card theft or something. The outside reminds me of those ribbed hard-shell suitcases.
If you just want a wallet that can hold up to water, I've put my Ridge wallet through the wash probably a dozen times now. I just unscrew the face plates to let the elastic dry and wipe down my cards. There are cheap clones of those everywhere now, no way should you pay for the name brand at the prices they want now.
aaah, but water-stained paper is amazing! I used to deliberately do it with my notebook at work, but my pen didn't write very well on it afterwards ^_^'
Erika Ordered one of those mini suitcase ones, I'll see. As I said I usually carried leather, a slim bifold one, but the leather takes a hit every downpour and since it's not a closed design the inside gets wet. Ridge design is very interesting, I like how it's light and slim and would probably get a clone if I didn't think the waetr would get inside.
malmon Interesting point of view, it just undulates and stains imo ahah. Bills and cards don't really mater as they are water resistant, receipts smear and the leather stains it as well which is annoying. Do you have any pics of said notebook?

Receipts fade over time anyway, and leather stains are just patina~
I do have a photo, but it's not exactly exciting ^_^' It just makes the paper all crinkly, which I like~
