I don't think I posted here, not that i am saying that because of the unreasonable laziness to click the previous page button. Drugs if legal are okay. Weed is okay. Now iellgal ones are illegal for a reason or 2. I see it bad as using drugs leads to horrible lives like living in DC. Depending on them because of addiction goes many things, homelessness, death, circle meetings, expensive rehab that'll get you back to seeking a release. Just downhill from the first injection, puff, swallow, snort, etc

You know, I feel like we'd do a better job of combating addiction if we didn't demonize it so much. It's not like anyone chose to be an addict; there's reasons people turn to drugs. Reasons I'm tempted with, myself.

It's extremely laughable that marijuana, shrooms, and LSD are among the most controlled substances in the U.S. More than cocaine, meth, xanax, etc.
And they are all less dangerous than alcohol. So what reason are they illegal for? Nixon against black people and antiwar advocates. Purely political.
Of course weed should just be legal everywhere by now. shrooms, lsd I'd be fine with them being legal, I'll prob do one day, but I can kinda see why people wouldn't want them to be. I don't know enough about them, but they are definitely not something to fight a drug war over lmfao. And definitely should not be a schedule 1 drug. Just decriminalize them

So I pretty much disagree with you that drugs if legal are okay. Are cigarettes okay. Why? What makes shrooms so horrible compared with everything else
I smoke weed but don't drink or smoke cigarettes, both of which are infinitely worse
but people who do those things it's not like I hate people that do them at all. just not for me

and referring to neon's post, I don't have a habit either I and honestly I hardly ever think about smoking apart from the times I feel like it which is like a few times a month. I'm a big fan of having control over my own life, it's nice on occasion, but I do know someone who really could not go a day without smoking. Gotta watch out for those things, Thankfully he's trying to be better and is already 6 days sober so I'm rooting for him xD!

10 months later

Had a major surgery this past week on one of my pinched nerves... Recovery has so far been smooth, thankfully, though I'll still be hurtin' like hell till the nerve fully decompresses.

On the bright side though, I've currently got the pleasure of trying out my first opioid. Heheh, and I tell ya, it's been a real treat these past few days. Best way I could describe it is... You find all the problems of the world have suddenly faded away, and if you're sitting still, you become very, very sleepy.

But, it's not like those cheap sleep aids made from Benadryl [Diphenhydramine]. Those medicines, and others like them, have always seemed to drain my consiousness away, almost forcefully.

Opioids are a kinder sort. As you let yourself down easy on your bed or the couch, eyes open only to slits, you're ensconced this halo of warmth and security that I can only compare to being in the arms of your lover.

I can see why people become addicted to this stuff... >///<

Thankya, darlin'~... I didn't get to say it back then, but, things have slowly been gettin' better since. I haven't felt this good in years, honestly...

I kept two of the Percocets around for fun... I was highkey hoping I'd be able to get a new prescription, buut~, I was honest enough to lean on Tylenol instead. Maybe I'll take them for my birthday, who knows? There's still the next surgery after all, and another helping of these wonderful, wonderful drugs. ^~^
