just received a forced promotion with more responsibilities and barely any more pay... mixed feelings
Whats your mood?
malmon i'm perfectly qualified to train people since I have a great understanding of everything imo, but I just don't want the responsibility.
As for the long hours, The store is open 70 hours a week, and if I need to be there so shit doesn't burn down yknow. Plus I have to visit jobsites, meetings, deals, etc... there are just always problems going on either w a customer or in the store that I have to fix
WorstFriend that is very cool
WorstFriend Whatever's going on in the background of that photo seems to suit the cover really well!
Just my room and the semi-concious living mass of cables clothes vinyls and god only knows what else.
When another wave of grief hits, and you wake up feeling sick to the stomach ._.
I met some new friends recently, I'm feeling happy.
WorstFriend Nice! Did ya get up to anything fun?
Yeah, yes actually. If you consider self discovery to be fun lol. I do.
They're very cool people.
i'm chillin. How's everyone's october going?
I had a great trip yesterday. I drove to Prague, met up with an online friend, walked around the city, and then went to a Bôa concert. It's the band that's song was used in Lain's opening, "Duvet", and yes, they played it live, right at the end.
The concert itself was amazing, the band came back after a long break with a new album, and it's actually really good. My personal recommendation from the new album is "Walk with me". It's my favourite. The singer had an amazing voice and an unbelievable confidence. They play a sort of soft alt rock if you all don't know them.
The city is also beautiful. We walked around the old town a lot, and went up to the giant metronome. Sadly, it wasn't working at the moment, and I forgot to take a picture. My friend said it goes at around 5 BPM.
This was an exhausting trip however. 900Km total by car, over 5 hours of sightseeing, and a concert, all within 24 hours. 27 hours without sleep. I feel like i have a very bad hangover today, I didn't even know what day it is when I woke up, but it was very much worth it. It was even worth the 3 speeding tickets I got. I'm happy I could have seen this amazing band perform live, play some of my favourite songs including "Duvet". Got myself a vinyl record of their new album too. Very happy I got to hang out with my online friend in real life and hug her too. Happy times.
WorstFriend That's awesome! I certainly wouldn't mind going to a Bôa concert myself. I'm sure it would've been so disappointing if they didn't play Duvet! Impressive that you did that all in one day. I recently just got back from the Netherlands to attend VWAB, but we booked two nights at a nearby motel ^^'
Didn't get much time to look around the town though, had trains to catch.
Got food poisoning or norovirus the day after I got back though, which... sucked =_=
