Emotional retardation? Missing empathy? Social Anxiety and psychiatric disorders? Some of those are indeed birth defects, but that isn't something that automatically makes you a jerk.
(I gather that anxiety problems are a common trait in many members in such boards? Surely not all of them would be jerks. In fact, I would put myself in the slightly empathically deficient category, which is why I try to be extra nice to people I want to work with in my social life - makes me about as nice as a mean-spirited normie)
You are REALLY talking about asshats and jerks aren't you? That isn't inborn, though it can be assimilated from family and even friends by imitation. It is however not an inherently permanent quality of one's brain, if the individual in question does not have an abnormal brain structure that makes them lack empathy and a personal history that does, indeed, not compensate for said defect.
A simple truism will prove my earlier statement: Jerks with a life are nice to some.
You will then agree, that being a jerk is neither inborn, nor a permanent quality of a non-impaired person's mind.
