I've gotta say, seeing all the different kinds of art all around a room really sounds awesome, but I've never got anything for myself like it.
Is there any place that's a good starting point for shopping for that kind of stuff? I wouldn't mind to pick up a few for myself, as my room is incredibly bare at the momment.
Riiight, now that I'm finally free of those damn migraines for a day, [ doesn't help that my insurance is refusing to pay for one of my medicines till they process some paperwork for the new year~ >_<' ], I can finally respond to this thread like I've wanted to!
So, where to buy wall art? Well, since your walls are totally bare, you might wanna ask yourself is if you want wall scrolls, or posters.
Wall scrolls, obviously, have the advantage of being easy to store. But they also have a hidden benefit, in that large wall scrolls will cancel echoes that bounce off the bare walls. You can get an idea what I mean by entering a bare room, and producing a nice, firm clap of your hands.
However, since they cost more to produce, they have much less variety than posters, seemingly being made entirely by the company who produced the anime. Your best bet is to look on large e-retailers such as Amazon. Custom options do exist, but again, they don't come cheap. ^^'7
Posters~, on the other hand, are a completely different animal. While (most) posters never get as big as a 32 inch scroll, their cheaper production cost means most artists simply sell their own prints after producing them in-house, or getting bulk orders from a production company. This is great, since it means almost all the money goes to the creators, but it also means posters offer a huge variety of different aesthetics. ^~^
You can find posters on Amazon and the like, but they're honestly really crappy and generic IMO. The best bet is to go to either a specialty arts-and-crafts selling website like Etsy, or to the homepage of your favorite artist. Respective examples, below~.

Of course~, one major caveat is that you'll want your posters to have frames, which will cost extra money. And if you don't have anywhere to hang those frames, you'll need to shell out for heavy duty Command Strips, which brings the price up to par with most large wall scrolls, honestly.
It's still totally worth, IMO. Hope this helps, even a little! ^^"
