I don't usually have/remember dreams, but the ones I do are almost always nightmares. Just a few notable ones. I'll spoil them, because too long
I once had a dream where I walked down a long, dark road, there were plenty of houses, but the lights were off, the blinds were down, I was isolated in public. I walked slowly, listening to my own footsteps, like I always do in real life when I walk alone at night, for fear of hearing another's behind me. I walked down the road, down a sidewalk, occasionally, very, very rarely, I'd walk past a person or two. They'd always be fully illuminated despite the darkness, and they never moved, never made a sound, but I could feel their eyes, oh so lightly I knew they were staring at me. I didn't approach them, and walked as far from them as I could, while going down the road. I don't know if they were antagonistic, I don't think I was eve scared, but I was a bit tensed up, as I always am, alone outside at night, and often when I'm inside too. Eventually, I stopped watching where I was going, and started watching my feet as I walked, head hung low. After minutes of this, I hear a loud barking, there is a german shepard, seemingly very aggressive. But the dog wasn't looking at me, it was looking slight to my right and behind me.
I woke up feeling uncomfortable.
This one kind of makes me laugh, because it's something that usually would be spooky, but I didn't care almost at all while it was happening.
Once I helped a family pack up all their belongings, move their stuff around, clean, etc, I was helping them move to a new house. Shortly after this happened, I had a dream where I was in their now mostly empty house, it was nighttime, naturally. There didn't seem to be any power, or maybe I just never checked if the lights worked. What was odd is, this dream started in the bathroom, with the door closed, the lights off, a situation that would normally, illogically, terrify me. I don't like bathrooms much, you see. I had a flashlight with me for some convenient, but inexplicable reason. The first thing I did was shine the flashlight in the mirror, here's what would normally be spooky, the reflection was all wrong, even what some might call demonic. I didn't react in the slightest, just turned around and walked to the living room/dining room, which for some reason had a new and rather nice looking table.I swung my flashlight about, to see various parts of the house, there were whispers, feelings on the back of my neck, all sorts of the usual paranormal tomfoolery, but I didn't care. It wasn't until I turned to the sound of the table sliding that I got even a little spooked, because the child of the couple I helped moved, about 16, was there, staring at me rather boredly. Their cute, but needy dog Tyson was there too, also staring at me.He waved at me and said something I don't remember, and I agreed with him and woke up. It makes me giggle wihen I think how little I cared about the spooks, but bgot spooked some kid and his dog.
I don't get why dogs are both at the end of both of these.
Other nightmares are a bit too wacky, random, insane or cliche for me to ramble about though, just stuff like jumping too high and getting scared of falling back down, or a woman under the bed trying to kidnap me for something or other involving sex.
