tomadoi Is nothingness that much to be afraid of? Like, what is nothingness? Might it not just feel like the time between you falling asleep and waking up, but without dreams in between?

I keep having the most incredible dreams. Like a few days ago, I dreamt there was an "Italian Food Universe" on YouTube, wherein people reviewed sandwiches and stuff from pizza joints and the like. Sounds mouth-watering, tbh.

I NEED to tell you guys this dream I had like one or two weeks ago. So in the dream I made a device that allowed me to slowly fly , it was like a self balancing scooter but with like propellers that made no noise whatsoever. I started to just fly towards a random direction while humming and whistling and everything sounded very nice since it heavily reverberated everywhere like the whole world was one of those massive cathedrals. There was also no one around, I think it was early in the morning.
Anyway at some point the flying-thing ran out of fuel and I slowly went down, and landed right next to a bunch of armed thieves planning to ambush someone. They saw me and ran after me. I ran away until I suddenly stopped and decided to fight them.

For some reason I was very strong and fast, whenever I hit them they seemed to have their entire skulls destroyed right away, all of my punches drew blood and sent them straight to the shadow realm. I KO'd two guys and then quietly grabbed a hammer that was just laying there randomly and bludgeoned their heads, killing them brutally. After that I teleported to a house and I was hiding. I was waiting for the third thief, who was a girl.
She quietly went inside the house as I watched her from afar. She was armed with a broom handle and looked terrified. At some point she notices my eye looking at her from a tiny hole and tries to run away but I go after her. She tries to attack me but I just catch the broom handle and throw it away, and then she tries to escape while crying and pleading for her life. I keep chasing and I don't say I word, I don't even seem to have emotions. That's all the dream.

Rare - the mark of a very good dream ^^

Poor girl though, sounds like she was talked into it by the others.

malmon Oh yeah it's so rare to be strong in dreams. I remember waking up disturbed at the cruelty and relentlessness that I had in that dream. I felt so out of character.

        10 days later

We're setting up some sorta work party. I gotta go help with something in the kitchen for some reason. Can't remember what it was, but once we were done, my colleague offered me a tab of LSD. He mentioned something about suddenly experiencing a sixth sense.

I took it, and immediately I collapsed over the kitchen sink. My vision turned to black and white spirals, then quickly to static, all while all I could hear was an excruciating loud squealing or ringing sound, like an amplified flash bang.

Enough of this. I wake up. I can see again. But the noise hasn't gone away. I can't move. Ah fuck, not again. "Wait, some people say they can see figures in the room while paralysed, right?" Thanks, brain. There's now a barely-visible silhouette of something at the foot of my bed. It gets closer as I blink and breathe furiously, and try to wiggle my body awake.

          a month later

E36_fiend Yeah, after the first time I ever had it, there's always that thought in the back of my mind... "is it gonna happen again tonight?". Fortuantely, it's rare, but still ^_^''

Any of you think about what dreams really mean? Or whether they even mean anything at all. Are they portals to another world? Is it another consciousness, to which this life is a dream? I wonder, since I've had two dreams about Sanya since her passing, of just us chatting a little, catching up... I wonder if it's real.

dreamed i got shot 3-5 times and was dying on the floor (i thought it was really happening)

Saikou That sounds pretty unpleasant >_< I seem to be somewhat fortunate in that whenever something horrible happens to me in a nightmare, I usually realise that I'm just having a nightmare

malmon bonus side effect: i no longer fear death (just prolonged suffering)
