Season 2 Episode 5 was great. I really hope the pace keeps increasing; the first 3 episodes were a bit stale this season.
[spoiler]I mostly want this dumb Frank plotline to either go somewhere or end, the other characters have become more likable while Frank is revealed to be more of a dick. Velcoro (Farrell) was just suffering this whole episode and had some great scenes. Woodrugh (Kitsch) didn't have anything too major happen besides being transferred and trying to get back on the field, but there was some mention to his mysterious combat background. Bezzerides (McAdams) seems to have dropped the e-cig for actual cigarettes, and her sex addiction has become more apparent. Hell, Frank even had some decent material throughout the ep.[/spoiler]
[spoiler]"The catalyst" seems to be one of the keywords for this season, like "Carcosa" in season one.[/spoiler]
