Just read about that, looks pretty cool. But for some reason the name CrunchBang seems to roll of the tongue better, I wish they kept it.
Well, if I remember correctly (and am not mistaken), Corenominal doesn't take part in the production of BunsenLabs itself, and from a friend I've heard that it's essentially just Openbox with Tint2 and Conky made to look like CrunchBang. Calling it #! would be a problem, as it would cause confusion (two crunchbangs?), and BL itself probably isn't the same as #! on a source level.
