Yeah, it took me quite awhile before I decided to commit and buy it.
I've got a few pieces of advice towards anyone thinking about playing it;
don't take it too seriously. The point that you start yelling at other teammates for making errors is the point where the game is no longer fun for any of you.
Find good teammates. I've found that my enjoyment of the game is entirely dependant on who my team is. Some of my most fun games were ones where we were loosing 10-2, but my team was hilarious. On the reverse side, some of my least favorite games were when we beat them 16-1, but people will still bitching at eachother for missing a kill, even though we swept the floor with the other team.
Don't try too hard, because in the end, it barely matters how good you do. I've won multiple games where our entire team was negative with our kill to death ratio, however, we played the objective.
