Hello and welcome, dear friends. What you see here is a corner just for those who enjoy hurting others and those who like being hurt themselves. In short: The Masochist's Corner. The rule is really simple. You give me a title of any anime/manga (anime no longer than 26 episodes, manga... no restrictions about length), and I'll watch it and then review and rate it. What is the catch here? Well, the catch is simple: there are some anime/manga out there that hurt your eyes/brain. They're not simply bad, they're just so bad it's a pain to watch/read. I will not run away from those, on the contrary: I'll help you decide, which of those are to be avoided and which can be watched/read with no worries.

How will I rate them? Using a special grade system, of course. I'll give the series X points, with theÂ max of 20, in 5 aspects: graphics, music, character, plot and overall enjoyment. Then summarize it all and give it a rating of X points out of 100, with following ratings:

[font='Open Sans', Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]68-82 points: Rotten[/font]
83-100 points: Masochistic
101+ points: Beyond the boundaries

Think of it as something like Rotten Tomatoes service, but for anime/manga.

Got rid of the numbered queue. More exciting this way! VNs are reviewed alongside anime, so they don't interfere with the original order.

So yeah, let's get it going! I'll start it with a review of Boku no Pico. Coming in the next thread. Then you can just give me a title of basically anything you didn't like or are curious about. I'll review it within a week since the last review.

Would you judge a Visual Novel if I were to submit one?

I remember dropping a series called Eiken simply because I couldn't handle that:

1) It was played out to be an ecchi genre despite its obvious... appeal to people.
2) The girls breasts were as large as, if not larger than their bodies. It was basically the breast inflation fetish, except natural.

I think there was some semblance of plot, but it got crushed under the gravity of these large mammaries. It'd be pretty respectable of you to finish what I started and give it an unbiased review, because God knows I won't.

I sure would, but the time delay of a week wouldn't apply there (all depends on the length of the VN, of course).

I will move onto this title as soon as I finish School Days per a request from someone else. Or, wait a second, is that really only an hour long... then I can do it even before School Days. Though, I do remember hearing about Eiken once. Seemed pretty cringeworthy back then, but now, I don't even know... it's all breasts, apparently.

Now in terms of recommendation, I think that it would be nice to give you Isuca, since it disinterested me enough that I didn't even bother to begin watching it. Hummingbird ratings have given it a 2.85 as of June 2015.

Alright, I'll review it as soon as School Days' and Eiken's reviews are done. Which shouldn't be longer than a week. To be honest, without looking at the synapsis of Isuca, it doesn't seem that bad. But, then again, I 'judged' Absolute Duo the same way, and I got a nice-looking cake with feces inside.

If you look for that kind of anime I would suggest the anime KÃ¤mpfer. It's my most hated anime.

Fun fact, I've already watched both Kanokon and KÃ¤mpfer. However, it was like 2 or 3 years ago. Gonna need to do a rewatch. As usual, will cover both of these once I'm done with the ones requested prior.
I should make a queue or something.

In it's defense, I did like Kampfer for it's premise, it just pulled it off not in the greatest fashion.

Man, isn't Saya no Uta going to be salty... I played it once already, and I don't really understand the negative reviews it gets. There is a lot of gore-y stages, intestines everywhere, the whole world looks ugly, but that's the very premise of the game.
That said! I will review Saya no Uta. It will take some time for me to replay it, though, so I will prioritize the anime requests over this one. However, the full review should arrive here within a month.

Forgot to mention, this anime is highly regarded as "groundbreaking." Personally I feel that the ground this anime broke happened to be on top of a leaking septic tank. Once it opened up, everyone around was swallowed up in a sea of shit.

Greetings from Cracow! Found a second to report back, so I shall. I'm coming back on 14th, so I'll be active starting 15th. I also expect to write a review then, too. I'll start with Kampfer, and finally put up the schedule/order for the reviews.

In the meanwhile, though, I've been thinking about doing a similar thread for the good anime. There too many thoughts going on in my head, though, so I'll ask you: would you want it to be created? To answer, just PM me here/on slack/reply with the mention 'nanashi yes/no' in #lounge. That's it. Thanks! Dismissed.
