Should We Still Celebrate 2020 Independence Day during a Pandemic?
Ahh, that's right... To be honest love, the Fourth really snuck up on me this year. Personally, I'd reckon watching fireworks is fine if people remained in/atop their cars, but I'd imagine that wouldn't be too enjoyable for anyone who isn't a driver or front-passenger, or had a car without a sunroof, or communities that live in forested areas. Then there's the issue of throwing parties, which is apparently something people do? I wasn't really a popular kid growing up, so must've never been invited. ^^"7
That said... I think private celebrations can be pretty low-risk if you take some precautions. First and most crucially, don't invite anyone you haven't been in frequent close contact with for the past few weeks. Family is a given, but this might also include your best friends; but no neighbors, or friends-of-friends. It's also better to keep things outside, and maybe start later to avoid the oppressive heat. That's gonna happen anyway, since y'all wanna launch fireworks and stuff...
If your family has something planned, I really hope you guys have fun. To be honest, I wish I could be there myself! I'd have loved to finally meetcha. ^~^
