I noticed that also. Since we're on that topic, quoting also uses a dark theme in the editor when light theme is preferred, same for the side pannel and the Additional Information editor in profile.

Yeah, unfortunately it seems like the designer of this forum has largely lost interest for the time being. Your best bet for now would be to fix it with a userstyle, or stick to the dark theme. I hope that eventually the forum will be polished up, but who knows.

On my end it doesn't bother me much other than triggering my OCD, so it's fine. For the profile tabs, you can just highlight them but soon enough I'll where each one is anyway.
