Just wondering, really the only people that i've seen that are into fashion and watch anime besides meÂ live in Japan. But I know there are probably a bunch of people everywhere else that are the same. I'm talking about high fashion, nice fits, having a great silhouetteÂ and things of that nature. please no dc shoes, plaid 6 panels, and Monster t shirts. Anime clothes are alright and could be cool if you know how to incorporate them into a fit well. I personally like Raf Simons, Shoes Like Pottery, Common Projects, Comme des garcons, Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Yohji Yamamoto, Cav Empt, I love Ugly, etc things of that nature : P

I usually try to avoid wearing graphic tees unless I'm at home - I like to think I somewhat do take fashion seriously whenever I go out. Not enough that I can really buy into the designer brands and everything though, but just enough that I think about what to wear for the day instead of just throwing on jeans and a shirt and walking out the door.

Never heard of any of those brands. I wear skater clothes. I got a Shake Junt t shirt on right now. I mostly wear stuff from my local board shop.

You don't need to have so much money to get into fashion. Buy from fast-fashion stores like H&M, Zara, and Uniqlo to get started. Start saving for individual pieces and use sites like grailed.com to buy pieces being resold for cheaper.

@[deleted] might be able to help, I just buy what I think is suitable and looks nice when I'm out. I usually take into account the weather, the season, etc. When I want to wear things.

would be a bit too much :T

I wouldn't give up on a certain style, especially one that you like, just because one person doesn't agree or dislikes it. Give it a shot, see how you like wearing it in public and if you, yourself, actually like wearing it. I personally wear unisex or opposite clothes all the time and I don't have a problem with it - I just like wearing them. Clothes for guys can be meant for girls, and clothes for girls can be meant for guys.

Oh now this is the perfect thread to join with. I absolutely love fashion! My favorite designer would have to be Raf Simons (although his newer works aren't as exciting). However, I will admit that sneakers will always be in my heart (Red Octobers are def a grail of mine)

Sadly this recent NYFW was nowhere near as interesting as previous, Yohji still did good as expected but other ones seemed mediocre almost. I guess that's just because it was SS, less layers to work with.

I do not like his new stuff very much, too minimalistic and it seems not as much thought are put into them as before. Maybe he needs better inspiration.
