I like reading about history, philosophy, religion, and sometimes science.

This is an interesting list to look at and think about how much diversity there was in the early church, even if we think of the Christianizing of the Roman Empire as a monolithic bulldozer. Things could have been very different for the entire world if some of these views held greater sway at the Ecumenical Councils.

There isn't as much of a culture of "heresy" in eastern religions, which is nice in some ways, but somewhat counterintuitively actually makes the diversity in its movements harder to track in many ways, so it's harder to find lists like this for Buddhism or Hinduism in comparison.

I have a big bookmark folder full of interesting Wiki pages that I need to dig up.

Extra History made a rather nice series of videos on this. You've probably read all they have to offer, but they're nice for casual learners like me.

I recently read this rather fascinating article about the isle of Sark during the German occupation in World War II. The island itself is something of an oddity, being a feudal fief devoid of cars; but its remoteness and strategic unimportance made life very different than in nearby France. Highlights include Germans and natives celebrating New Year's together in '41, as well as starving together in the latter years of the war.

Can we take a minute to appreciate the surprising amount of anime lewds featured on Wikipedia? I've been glued to some air crash investigation channels on YouTube, so I decided to look up "VOR" to pass time at work. I wanted this...

But I also couldn't help but hover my mouse over this... ^_^"

And that's just for starters. Search up "Hentai", "Ecchi", "Fanservice", "Lolicon" ( But sadly not "Shotacon". ;-; ), and you'll be greeted with well-drawn examples of the topic at hand. The page for "Panchira" even has an infographic history of the panty-shot, by the powers!

They've also got covers for a handful of adult-oriented manga/animation. Shout-out to this one for having one of the best titles I've ever read. xD
