I figured that sharing album downloads deserved a second thread. So here it is!
I decided that a new thread needed to be made. The old thread became a little unwieldy to edit, with everything in the OP it could sometimes take up to 5 minutes to open the editor.
To combat this, this new thread will be made. The rules shall have their own dedicated post (the original post), and each post should be home to no more than 2 separate lists.
Anyone can add an album they like, as long as it follows a few simple rules:
The submission format is as follows: %artist% - %album% (%year%) [|Release Type|] [|Release Source| |the codec|] (the folder name format can be whatever makes sense)
Please, no more than ONE ALBUM per post.
Additions must, at a minimum, be 128kbps mp3/64kbps opus or equivalent quality.
Additions must be no higher quality than 24bit 48KHz lossless flac. Downsampling is your friend.
Additions are highly recommended to also have a track list. This website has some tools to make this easy.
If the site you upload to does not allow easy downloading of entire folders, please RAR or ZIP your upload.
It is suggested, but not required, that you keep a back-up copy of the album in case the site you use goes down, so that you can reupload it quickly. Additionally, keep a backup of the album image, just in case. The OG thread has many dead images/links, let's not repeat that.
Please keep bad transcodes to a minimum. For examples of bad transcodes, Look no further.
