Aaay lmao I'm back bab-yyyy, and what do I happen to see but a Splatoon thread, TOP. KEK. I have been hating on this game since day one, and nothing so far has changed that. The Miiverse is literally hell, and the 11 year olds that still play Nintendo games in 2015 are basically the entire reason for that; the tryhard 'competitive gamers' that wanna turn Splatoon into an eSport are just the biggest joke to come out of it. The game is so fucking plain and 'good enough' it's crazy that literally every review is giving it an 8/10, but it's pretty much the same level of plain mediocrity as Destiny, but it's from Nintendo so it gets an 8 instead of all the 78s Destiny got; if it wasn't being published on the worst gaming platform since the Ouya, it would basically be 2015s best 7/10 and that's it.
This shit has 60 levels and 15 cosmetics all as Day One DLC, and because Nintendo purposefully underproduces those stupid amiibos, so few people have access to the DLC that it's not even relevant to most gamers, so basically amiibos are dead, and Splatoon fucking killed it, thank god, but if you wanna look at the facts, here it is:
-Literally one gameplay mode that will ever be worth playing (turf war)
-Locked loadouts
-No ranked play
-Retarded map rotation
-Shittiest playerbase ever
-Disgusting lack of content
-Costs $60
This game literally costs as much as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, whose online mode is basically better than Splatoon's could ever be, and is a companion to a single player campaign with more depth and quality than anything that will ever be published on a Nintendo platform. If the game wasn't marketed to the tryhard, dickwad scalpers that try to buy every amiibo just to have them, or the 11 year old kids that think this is a quality gaming experience worth $60, you can sure as hell bet Nintendo wouldn't be forcing this game into the spotlight the way it did. Fuck Splatoon, I literally only care about it existing so I can get more preteen squid-girl hentai drawn. That's it.
Am I cool now? :/
