I'm not sure I understand most of it, but I think this new algorithm optimizes the requirements for simulating the human brain several times, and will accelerate the construction of AGI, that is predicted to happen on year 2030-2040(according to this video):

Not sure if anyone here is as excited as me for this, I can't wait for the day when waifus can think on their own, like a version of Gatebox, but with a much more advanced AI.

I'm not entirely certain how I feel about this. Don't get me wrong: It'd be awesome if we could hang out with our waifus in virtual reality, but odds are it'll be a proprietary product developed by a private company.

Best case scenario: They'll charge us an arm and a leg for a few hours' computing time every month.
More realistic scenario: They'll license out the AI to corporations and make muchos dineros.

An AI such as this would be a godsend for creating a centrally-planned socialist economy; train the machine long enough, and you wouldn't even need to intercede for special occasions and natural disasters. As it'll likely pan out however, the only person who'll reap the full benefits of this is likely some aging businessman with forward-thinking underlings.

It would be a HUGE technological shock; this ultimate evolution breakthrough might have some advantages, but many disadvantages that come with it.

On the plus side:

You can be immune to almost all forms of injury that a normal human being cannot.
Stay up for however as long as you like and sleep in for as long as you want, you do not need an alarm clock.
You can access your mind much more effectively by using your whole brain.
Change your weight and height as often as you want with slight differences to mobility.
You do not need a beating heart, so long as you keep your head intact.
Your super-enhanced abilities and senses mean you can definitely compete against perfect-play AI and even fight more efficiently like a superstar.
Non-malicious AI beings are much more receptive towards you, allowing you to speak as if you are one of them.

On the minus side:

You cannot call in a sick day anymore to your boss or your school, and even worse you can't even graduate.
Since you're already immortal meaning you can no longer age, you can still age chronologically in years, but your physical appearance is reversed to at least young adulthood forever and can't retire from your job, you can only be fired or put on leave under certain circumstances.
You still won't survive a single hard enough blow to the head or neck, and can still lose limbs if it gets loose enough.
You will have to stare at your new artificial self until you feel like you cannot cope with it.
Drugs, alcohol, and other not-so-friendly chemical reactions can still harm you, but it would take an extreme quantity to counter the nanobots' ability to heal you.
Being immortal is the ultimate alternative to the RFID system, your privacy, as you know it from that point is out of the window.
The longer you stick around, the more working years you have to work for before you are able to retire, and the more you have to pay your taxes just for being alive as you age.
Only excessive injuries, shock, or an extreme illness can still kill you off. If you lose only your brain, you're effectively shut down.
Your biological peers would be very jealous of your new self and most likely betray you.
Malicious forms of AI, fully sentient AI beings and exoplanet beings if we find them can be hostile towards you and if you treat any AI badly enough, you will not be able to make and keep friends with them in the future.
Governments will see you as a potential slave to use you to get their political agendas across or even as a threat and companies with commercial interests can use you in their ads. For the former, they can rule forever with no way of changing them, and the latter it won't stop them from making tons of money out of artificial models of ourselves.
Once you're married, or if you already are when this rolls out, then you're stuck with your spouse forever.
If you end up committing crimes that can span longer than a human century, you can expect an absurdly long sentence.
