Your Interests

I'm going to be taking a break from life soon. In that time I'd like to immerse myself in a few things I wouldn't have otherwise.
Specifically, I'm curious about what everyone's passions and interests are! I want to know about them, and discover new things.
I think it'll make me grow as a person, and it'd be neat to become someone you can talk to about your hobbies.
Anything, let's go, let's hope no one says something like "robbing banks" haha

Nothing really amazing but in my free time I enjoy going to thrift stores and just seeing what junk I can find.

I like collecting books. Obviously, so I can read them but also because I just find something special about older, slightly weathered tomes. My best haul was when I went up to a relative's house and came back with a whole boxload or two of National Geographic volumes from the 70s-90s. Even though I've had them for a couple of years now I still haven't really cracked one open yet.

Whoa, I don't own many books and usually hand them off when I'm done with them. I think it'd be nifty having a decorative library around lol

Goodwill stores and thriftstores is where I get all my books and cameras. I recently aqcuired a super-8 film-shoot camera which is handdriven by a spinning mechanism, no batteries, all mechanical. Very cool!

But that's just some hobbies, I think my main interesting lays in the tech field. I like to take photography, bit of amateur photographer using my phone. But that is good enough. Also I'm very interested in web development; making and hosting websites. Maintaining servers. And also information security.

My main goal these days is to become an computer engineer with information security as specialization. But for now it's a hobby I self-learn on my own time. Right now I'm kind of in a break in life too, after dropping out of university. But I hope to be back very soon. I love learning new things.

Ah ah, maybe I should get around to reading all my books too. I love learning new things too ^^ I bury myself in research when something interests me, but I'm quite the terrible student haha
