[Monitor] Discoloration

Heya, there may be something wrong with my graphics card. I've got a Radeon HD 7870 and have been meaning to replace it soon (damn miners).
So, for the past two weeks my monitor has been really purple (or pink maybe). I didn't remember fiddling with my monitor settings, so I messed around and the best I could do was make it less noticeable.
Today, I figured the issue may be with the graphics card. I opened up the amd app and ran a display calibration. It was pretty apparent in the calibration that my colors and contrast were off by a bit.
Anyway, towards the end, everything looked normal again! I saved the settings, and opened Discord.
For half a second, I saw the old dark Discord, but then it reverted to seeming a bit too purple.

Give it to me straight guys, my card's dying, isn't it?

That seems like a rather strange way for a GPU to die. What sort of cable are you using? Did you try connecting to the motherboard, if you can? Did you try connecting the monitor to something else?

Also, it's not the miners' fault prices are high. It's the retailers raising them.

It was just Discord acting odd. As long as I don't open it first, it's fine lol

if you're strapped for cash, you might be able to still sell the card for a pretty penny and get something in the 1060 or 1070 range if you get enough and find a good enough deal. AMD cards are still great for mining certain cryptos and miners will pay for them. would still recommend getting your hands on a junk GPU (like a GT430 or something low-end) to hold you off in the meantime, but it's doable, as much as miners are hurting sales, it's also a good thing for people who are looking to sell. so you could essentially wait for the 1060 3GB to go down in price a bit since everyone is going to start selling them at a loss. Etherium just had an update with the Windows version that made them basically useless for mining it, and given people aren't mining anything else, it could mean an influx of miner cards coming in in various states of workingness... luck of the draw at that point, but 1060 prices are about to sink back to semi-normalcy.

Oh good advice! Pretty reassuring too. I'll sell once I'm not super dependent on my pc (a month from now)
