Initially I'd made these characters for Saku's thread, but it turns out that RP involves combat. Ah well, I'm sure they can find a home here instead. ^^

Name: Moya Areshima (left) and Arnette MacMillan (right)
Occupation: Academy Students
Bio: Few friends can boast a bond so intimate and so indestructible as that between Moya Areshima and Arnette MacMillan. The two were renowned in their hometown as for their countless antics and endless charisma when paired with each other, and they have done everything together. So strong is their friendship that they purposely applied to the same prestigious academy for their high school and collegiate years, and succeeding in apprehending full scholarships, they resolved to attend together.
Initially they had feared that the abundance of clubs and potential new friends would pull them apart. Fortune saw a different outcome. Arnette's fellow players on the soccer team were already displeased with her middling performance, but they became outright furious upon realizing she didn't care much for her mediocrity. It was only a game, Arnette reasoned, so why should she regard it as anything more than a hobby? Better to simply enjoy their time together so long as it lasts.
As for poor, sweet Moya, who'd worn her heart on her sleeves from the moment she'd strode into the halls, her candor was little-appreciated by the upper-class denizens that peopled the academy. To them, this commoner spoke freely of topics normally consigned to shameful confessions to their loved ones, and possessed neither the decorum nor the humility expected of someone of her station.
This was fine for Moya however. Seeing her friend's struggle, she took it upon herself to form a club - The Best Friends Club! - to allow fellow students to find lifelong companions just as she had with Arnette all those years ago. Together they dusted the musty old classroom, bought snacks and soft drinks, decked the windows with new curtains, and even rented a portable karaoke rig; all in preparation of a triumphant first meeting.
No one came.
We now join them in the springtime of their first year of high school. Who knows what manner of adventure these two might encounter next?
