gimp's threshold effect turns everything pure black and white, that's why all the lines look hard and dark
it's the only way i can color it how i want to color it, using the eraser as a color replacement tool in ms paint
unless you're talking about the actual drawings that aren't digitally manipulated
i don't see anything wrong with them
