irc rooms?

I'm trying to get into irc. Anybody know any /cozy/ irc rooms? Any topic is fine really, just looking for an alternative community for when I quit using discord.

Heh, I actually have a Matrix server, though a bit of a slow one, because it's on my RPi.

Discord is nice, but certain ethical issues keep me (and I presume @[deleted] in the future) from using it. Not that I'm too bothered by not being on there.

I can understand that. But just said we have diacord as in no need for a lewd irc. Most I encountered in the diacord don't even know there is a forum, or remember their last visit smh.

Also for mobile users irc is hell.

Now to the main topic, i do not know of any cozy irc channels.

The Riot app is pretty good, but definitely needs more polish in some places.
